After much procrastination, Chris has finally got me to create this site. As the title suggests, hopefully this is the beginning of a good journey into looking at things through the eyes of my new camera. A new perspective is always good and what better method then to use a tried and trusted method. Nashie thanks for the push. Below are some shots taken many moons ago while the seed of creativity was born. The 2 following photos were taken with my old Canon s50 so sometimes beginners luck :)
Taken on a walk in the south of England, I had thought this looked ok. Cropped and chopped and other things you do with photoshop to create something serene for me.
A symmetry shot within bank station. Thought this was a very cool look, kinda like a time warp, Dr Who style.
This shot I cant take credit for. It was taken with a Canon G6 by a mate and was in an indoor wake boarding competition. Again cropped for efffect, desaturated and blurred slightly to take away the out of focus wire mess that gives it that texture on the front. I love this shot and with it fixed up, I think it looks very ethereal, suspended in motion. Thats it for now, these represent more photoshop skill then photographic skill so its defo time to make amends for that.
